One of the ISIS knifemen was a known terror threat, French police say

French police have revealed that one of the pair of ISIS knifemen named as a 19-year-old Adel Kermiche who stormed a church and slit the throat of a priest in the Northern city of Normandy was a known terror threat.

Reports say Kermiche on two occasions tried to join ISIS in Syria but was jailed and later released on bail – under conditions that allowed him to roam free.

Recounting her ordeal, a Nun who escaped being killed by the terrorists said the killers told her ‘You Christians, you kill us’ before they killed Father Jacques Hamel.

The attack which ISIS later claimed responsibility for got French President Francois Hollande positing that France is ‘at war’ with the terror group as authorities also revealed that a third suspect, a 16-year-old Saint-Etienne resident was also arrested in connection with the attack.
