Oyo discharges 2 COVID-19 patients
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, said on Sunday two COVID-19 patients had been discharged from the state isolation centre after they tested negative for the disease.
Makinde, who also chaired the state’s COVID-19 Task Force, disclosed said on his verified tweeter handle that this brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to nine.
“So, there are currently six active cases in Oyo State.” Makinde clarified.
The governor had on Saturday night disclosed that a medical doctor at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan, tested positive for COVID-19.

He stated that isolation and contact tracing on the patient had commenced.
