Allegations that Russia intervened on my behalf in elections 'ridiculous', Trump says

The emergence of Donald Trump as the sole winner of the ticket Republican Party ticket for the forthcoming Presidential elections has put party members at crossroads as to whether to support his candidature.

Party members are currently mulling over his emergence especially with the departure of two other remaining rivals on the party’s platform in the persons of Ted Cruz and John Kasich.

There is an air of uncertainty concerning the elections which is scheduled to hold on the 8th of November as some party members say they may likely vote for Hillary Clinton, who is the likely Democratic nominee.

Donald Trump also tried to rally round the fractured party behind him as a handful of prominent Republicans threw their weight behind him.

Bill Achtmeyer, the Boston-based founder of consulting firm Parthenon Group, was among those weighing a possible for vote for Clinton.

“If she is able to move to the centre and think as creatively and thoughtfully as her husband did… boy, I would have a very hard time, based on what I know today, not voting for Hillary versus what Trump is espousing,” said Achtmeyer, who has donated $200,000 to Republicans over the last decade.

David Beightol, a Washington lobbyist and a Republican donor who raised money this year for the presidential bid of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, on the other hand, said he was leaning towards voting for Trump because he could not support Clinton.

“I’m not there yet, but I don’t have a lot of choice,” Beightol said.
