2shots: Leaked convo reveals cracks in rapper’s marriage

The marriage of former Trybe Records rapper, 2shotz, has allegedly hit the rocks after a leaked conversation between his wife, Precious Jones and her close friends surfaced on social media.

In the leaked conversation, Precious gave reasons for moving back to Ireland, stating that she was the one footing the bills of the fast fading rapper and more importantly, she was constantly battered by him.

Precious also claimed that 2Shotz couldn’t pay her bride price because he doesn’t have the money to but solely depends on her credit card to do his studio sessions and pay other music bills.

“I didn’t see this coming…This guy was the sweetest guy in the universe when I first met him. I didn’t marry him for money or for fame. I didn’t know who he was, because before then, I had been based in Ireland. When I found that he was a public figure, I wanted out of the relationship and broke up with him. But we got back together after his manager at the time kept on calling to beg on his behalf.

“We eventually got married and some years into our union, I felt discouraged about going on because I was constantly picking up the bills. I talked about the issue with my mother and we decided it was best for me to come to Ireland and days later, I was on a flight to Dublin.

“All the while I was there, he never called to check up on his daughter; I have never told anyone that he ever put his hand on me but the straw that broke the Camel’s back transpired a couple of weeks ago when I returned to Nigeria. He seized our daughter’s passport threatening that I will never take her back with me to Ireland and he will also take me to court. He also said that he will make life unbearable for me in Nigeria because he has people in the army and navy.” She posted

Precious further noted that she had to leave the country in order to be able to fend for their daughter and that her leaving the rapper was only for the meantime.

“I am back in Ireland fending for our baby; I understand that as a couple, we have to live together but unexplained to him and for the meantime, I have to make this sacrifice for the family,” the conversation read in part.

It could also be recalled that some years before 2shotz got married, his girlfriend at the time- an ex BBA contestant always complained about being hit by the rapper when they were dating.
