Justice Abang refuses Kashamu`s application to stop his extradition to U.S.

Finally, agents of the NDLEA who besieged the Lagos residence of the Senator-elect for Ogun East Senatorial District, Mr. Buruji Kashamu have left the place in obedience to the court order asking them to leave the place.

The operatives left the area shortly before 8pm on Thursday.

The anti-narcotic agency had laid siege to the Ijebu-born politician’s house since Saturday in an attempt to facilitate his extradition to the United States over drug-trafficking offences.

The Director of Kashamu’s campaign organisation, Mr. Lekan Adekoya, confirmed the development.

He said, “Yes. They have finally left. They left at 7.45pm.”
