Hodgson secures first victory as Crystal Palace manager
New manager of Crystal Palace, Roy Hodgson has secured his first victory in charge of the Premier League side as they beat Huddersfield 1-0 in the Carabao Cup.
The last time the Eagles won a match was in the previous round of the Carabao Cup against Ipswich.
They were able to conquer Huddersfield on Tuesday night.
Palace had set a losing streak record without scoring – a development that resulted to the sacking of former boss Frank de Boer.

Hodgson managed the team in their last Premier League match against Southampton last weekend and lost at home, but has now secured his first win with the team.
Bakary Sako scored the only goal of the game in the 13th minute , as Huddersfield had chances to equalise in the second half but Palace held on to the win.
Palace will face Manchester City in their next game in the Premier League this weekend, and they are yet to score a goal or earn a point since the start of the season.
