Ladies! Here are 10 foods that'll help thin down your waist

Are you looking to thin down your waist like most ladies dream to? Do you look on with envy at the pictures on Instagram of girls with remarkably slim waists and wished we could look like they do?

Well the good news is that you can if you religiously eat certain food items.

Your diet determines not only how you look, but also how you feel. It can also play a huge role in determining how long you live, as well as the quality of your life.

By eating the 10 healthy foods in this list, you’ll not only trim your waist, you’ll also improve your life in a few other ways, too.

Chia Seeds: Everyone who is into health and fitness in 2017 munches on chia seeds. They’re a supercharged super food that are cheap to buy and rich in goodness. The best thing? They help you to lose weight.

Oatmeal: Oatmeal is a whole grain that makes for the perfect breakfast if you’re trying to slim down. It’s healthy, and is a good source of dietary fibre. For this reason, it will help you to feel fuller for longer, preventing you from snacking throughout the morning.

Hot Peppers: You’ve probably heard all about the role hot peppers play in weight loss, but if you’re scared of the red hot heat, you will probably hoping and praying that they wouldn’t be on this list.

Berries: After you’ve set your mouth on fire with the hot peppers, it’s time to cool down with some fat-fighting berries. There are many different kinds of berries, with the most popular including blueberries, blackberries and strawberries. They’re all packed with goodness, including antioxidants and cancer-fighting properties.

Yoghurt: The only way to lose weight is to decrease your calorie intake. That’s the only way to lose weight. And because yogurt is so low in calories but so high in protein, it should be a regular item on your shopping list from now on. Indeed, it should be right at the top!

Salads: Meat eaters have an aversion to salads, dismissing them as “rabbit food.” They fear that if they swap their usual meal of steak and egg for salad, they will soon go hungry. Pack your salad with fibre (and remember, meat contains zero fibre), and your salad can fuel you for hours while helping you to trim your waist. Perfection.

Lentils: Lentils – a perennial student favourite because they’re so cheep – are one of those whole foods that nutritionists recommend we try to eat at least once a day. Why? Because they’re nutritional powerhouses that pack a massive punch. Lentils are rich in fibre and iron, and they’re also super low in fat. Win-win.

Low Fat Milk: Milk contains calcium that helps to fortify our bones and teeth. But if you want to lose weight around your waist, it’s a good idea to switch to low-fat milk. It tastes just as good, and can go some way to helping you get the shape you really want.
