Nanny who beheaded little girl says she was “ordered by Allah”

An Uzbekistani nanny based in Russia who has been accused of beheading a little girl in her care has said that “Allah ordered” her to carry out the act.
38-year-old Gulchekhra Bobokulova who herself is a mother of three kids spoke to reporters while she was being ushered into a Moscow court. When asked if she accepted her guilt for murdering and decapitating the little girl, she said “yes”.
Investigators believe she waited for the four-year-old girl’s parents to leave the home before killing her, setting the apartment on fire and fleeing, the scene.
Reports say after the incident, Bobokulova who is a Muslim was seen on CCTV dressed in a hijab, walking near a metro station with a head in her hands.
Russian media reported that she pulled the head out of a bag and began screaming that she would blow herself up after a police officer asked to see her identity documents.
Russian officials believe that Bobokulova who is suffering from mental health problems may have been incited into committing the crime as investigators told the Presnensky district court they had not found anyone else involved in the case.
