Nigerian troops kill 5 Boko Haram fighters, recover guns
Troops of the Nigeria Army have neutralized five Boko Haram insurgents in Gara village, Borno State, Northest Nigeria.
The troops, according to a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by the Director of Army Public Relations, Brig Gen Texas Chuckwu, recovered four AK 47 rifles from the terrorists.
Also recovered were five magazines, 55 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition and eight rounds of 5.56mm NATO ammunition.

The statement also revealed that the troops recovered were eleven handsets assorted drugs, cooking utensils, some quantity of provisions and six horses.
