OSUN GOVERNORSHIP POLL: HDP constitutes committee for primary

The leadership of Osun State chapter of the Hope Democratic Party (HDP) says it has constituted a Committee for the forthcoming governorship primaries of the party scheduled for July 18.

The outgoing Chairman of the party, Wole Adedoyin, on Monday in Ilesa, disclosed that the committee would be led by Mr. Dada Olusegun and Mr. Muritala Jelili Ayobami as joint chairmen.

It would be recalled that the party had earlier scheduled her governorship primary to be held on the July 8th at the party secretariat in Osogbo, the Osun state capital.

It further named the election planning committee members to include Mr. Adelowo Quadri , Mr. Muritala Dauda Ademola, Mr. Lukman Lolade and Mr. Lekan Ajao.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Monday commenced screening of 11 aspirants who obtained its form for the September 22 election.
