Chelsea star Pedro has confidently claimed that the Premier League is a much tougher challenge than La Liga.

Pedro joined the Blues from Barcelona in 2015, for a fee of around £19million, but struggled in his first season with the Blues under Jose Mourinho.

However, the 29-year- old midfielder has found a new lease of life under Antonio Conte in the current campaign, scoring five goals in 19 appearances, and he’s clearly enjoying the level of competition in England.

“It’s not new for me, but it’s difficult in this league. It’s different here,” Pedro said.

“At Barcelona, it’s normal to win most of the games and sometimes it’s too easy.

“It’s very different in Spain. Barca have many opportunities all the time to win matches, which in England is very difficult because the challenges are greater.”

Pedro’s brace helped Chelsea defeat Bournemouth on Boxing Day, and his team has continued on their winning streak in the Enhlish Premier League. Currently, the number of wins is 12, and they need 3 more wins to break the 14-wins record of Arsenal.
