ANAMBRA 2017: Nwoye, Uba, Moghalu, Uzor test strength in APC

Senator Andy Uba’s media aide, Uchem Obi has said that a plot to recall the senator by some youths in his constituency will amount to nothing but a waste of time.

A gorup of youths from Uba’s district are said to be plotting for the senator’s recall over alleged ineptitude and a poor representation of the people.

However, Obi responding to the purported plot to recall his principal in a statement on Saturday, argued that Uba had not done anything wrong for such extreme measure to be meted on him.

He said, “As we revealed when they first began their empty noise, they represent nothing but a fraud.

“They are constantly searching for an avenue to get close to unsuspecting members, especially successful members of the political class.

“We warned that they are an association of con-artistes, who seek out desperate politicians who they market falsehood and unattainable projects to.”

He described the group as being unserious and wondered that if they were serious they would not be seeking secret audience with the Senator.

“Why are they secretly seeking an audience with Sen. Andy Uba after making an empty noise that they were recalling him from the Senate? What is stopping them from recalling the Senator?

“Do they want the Senator’s permission to recall him?

“The Senator is focused on good representation and had never and does not intend to be distracted.”

Uba represents Anambra South senatorial district in the National Assembly and presently one of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirants for the November 19, gubernatorial poll in the state.
