PDP Bot sets expiry date for Sheriff

The EFCC seems to be making good its promise that it is re-opening its case files against former governors suspected of embezzling their states’ resources.
This time it has gone after a former Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu-Sheriff, whom it is interrogating over N300bn his administration received from the Federation Account between 2003 and 2011 when he was the governor of Borno
Modu-Sheriff is the second former governor the commission is interrogating this week. It had on Monday quizzed a former governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, who arrived in Nigeria on Saturday.
Modu-Sheriff arrived at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja at 6pm, and was arrested, and taken in for questioning. He was still there as at 9p.m.

Arresting and questioning is not enough…the judicial system must back these up with convictions and jail terms.
