Gunmen abduct three in Anambra

Gunmen on Tuesday abducted three persons at the Innoson showroom in Anambra State.

The spokesman for the state police command, Tochukwu Ikenga, who confirmed the incident on Wednesday in Awka, said the victims were kidnapped at the Innoson motorcycle showroom on Owerri Road in Nnewi.

He said the command had initiated an operation for the rescue of the victims and had deployed operatives to the scene to obtain useful information on the abduction.

He urged anyone with useful information that could aid the investigation to come forward to the command’s headquarters in Awka, or the nearest police station.
