MELETE MASSACRE: 2 things Afenifere wants Buhari to do

In a bid to restore security to northern parts of the country, President Muhammadu Buhari has scheduled today (Monday) for a meeting with 19 northern state governors.

The chairman of the Northern Governors Forum and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, revealed the development on Sunday during a church programme to mark the inauguration of his second term in office.

According to him, “During our meeting under Northern Governors Forum, they (governors) said we should meet with Mr President so that we will tell him the problems of the north and how we can address the challenge of insecurity, development and other matters affecting the people. That is why we have agreed to meet with him tomorrow in Abuja.”

He, however, implored the people to pray for the success of the meeting in order to end insecurity in the country.
