Police arraigns two men for alleged breach of peace in Ogun
Police on Wednesday arraigned two men at the Ota Magistrates’ Court in Ogun State for alleged breach of peace.
The defendants – Ezekiel Odunogun (60) and Odegbaro Akeem (50) – were arraigned on a three-count charge of breach of peace, conspiracy, and forceful entry.
The prosecutor, Insp. E.O.Adaraloye told the court that the defendants and others still at large committed the offences on January 3 at Tigbo-Ilu, Ota.
Adaraloye alleged that the defendants and their accomplices conspired to conduct themselves in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace by forcefully entering into a land planted with food crops belonging to one Ifeoluwa Jenrola and damaging them.
He said the offences contravened Sections 81, 451, and 516 of the Criminal Code, Laws of Ogun, 2006.
