It is actually a surprise to many that Jackie Chan is still making martial arts movies that are capable of earning him a golden spot in the list of top highest paid actors in the world. But according to Forbes, he is even the second, beaten only by the Iron Man himself.

Chan clinched this spot as Forbes decided to expand its annual who’s who of wealthy actors to include those outside the US movie industry. The 61-year-old veteran actor pocketed up to $50 million dollars last year.

His latest movie ‘Dragon Blade’ not yet released in US, grossed $120 million in China, and Chan earned $10 million as the lead actor.

According to Grady Hendrix, co-founder of the New York Aan Film Festival, Chan is: “basically the Mickey Mouse of Chinese culture, a celebrity who is so omnipresent that his name has become shorthand.”

Robert Downey is ranked number one for the third time, for his work as Iron Man in the ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. They say three is a charm. Downey Jnr raked in a whopping $80 million from that movie that enjoys turning adults into kids.

Following in a juicy third place is Vin Diesel. His badass stunts in the Fast And Furious franchise, made him richer by $47 million last year. Furious 7 is the fifth highest-grossing movie of all time with a worldwide take of $1.51 billion.
