Patricia Guijarro doubled Spain’s lead deep into the added time of the first half, and were cruising all through the pitch.

Nigeria did put up a good fight in the second half, and they were able to pull a goal back through a rebound by Peace Efih in the 57th minute.

They were however unable to find equaliser with Spain advancing to semi-finals where they will face either hosts France or defending champions Korea DPR.
