14-yr-old wife arrested for hacking hubby who starved her

Five days after the remains of a 34-year-old man identified as Kayode was dumped in a cesspit in the Baruwa area of Ipaja, the police in Lagos State have arrested the mother of the deceased, Mrs. Bosede Adekunle.

According to reports, Kayode who had been sick for some time was living with his widowed mother and two sisters who were taking care of him until he gave up the ghost under unclear circumstances.

Mrs. Adekunle allegedly dumped the corpse in the cesspit and the stench later caught the attention of a resident who traced the smell and found Kayode’s decomposing body.

As soon as an alarm was raised, a crowd gathered and Kayode’s body was recovered from the cesspit and an angry mob descended on Mrs. Adekunle before she was saved by policemen from the Ipaja division who arrested and took her away to the station for questioning.

There was probably no money to take the sick dude to the hospital; and burial ceremonies are becoming pretty expensive these days. Not an excuse though, but the hardship can lead people to act in funny manners, really!

There’s more to his death. He was sick, but when he died, his body was thrown away by his mother, why?

To me, there is no big deal in what she did as no money to bury him, it’s better there in the soak away as it will blend with the odour of the soak away.

Rubbish. What’s the trumpet about now. She dropped a dead body into a cesspit as cemeteries are filled up. That’s better option. If possible, we should start creamate dead bodies in Nigeria to avoid unnecessary wastage on funerals.

Well, Allah won’t be happy with that woman at all. There is no reason that would have warranted her to dispose the dead body of her son into soak away. It’s purely wickedness.
The deads deserve dignity and not disgrace.
