In what seems like a movie scene, ten policemen including an inspector were disarmed and abducted by gunmen in Lagos.

The Lagos Police command made the incident known which it said took place in Ibeju Lekki peninsula area of the state.

The 10 kidnapped policemen are members of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) and were said to be on duty when the incident occurred.

The gunmen who disarmed the policemen of their rifles including AK-47, took away the policemen and their riffles to an unknown place.

According to the command, the Special Police Task force has been sent out to unearth the hiding place of the gunmen and recover their personnel with their ammunition.

Criminal acts especially kidnapping have been prevalent around the Ibeju Lekki peninsula of Lagos state lately.

What’s so special about SARS? Are they not human beings. Power pass power, Ammunitions pass ammunitions.

When most of the policemen in Lagos are mumu and always after the N200 they’d collect from motorists, why won’t they be kidnappers?

But SARS don’t take bribe. It must have been a calculated attempt. And I am sure the gunmen were more sophisticated in weapons than the kidnapped policemen.

I’m suspecting this kidnap to be a staged on. It will never be easy to kidnap 10 policemen at a time,
