A Mexican wrestling star, Pedro Aguayo Ramírez, better known as the Son of Perro Aguayo, on Saturday died during a tag team fight in the ring in Tijuana, Mexico.

He suffered a fatal blow in front of thousands of fans in attendance – and the fight continued for nearly two minutes as he lay motionless on the ropes, his colleagues in the ring unaware that their friend/foe was now a corpse sharing the ring with them.

Ramirez, went limp on the ropes after a flying kick from one of his opponents, Oscar Gutierrez, known as Rey Misterio, Jr., hit his neck.

The other participants and the referee realized Aguayo was seriously injured and tended to him, according to video shot in a municipal auditorium.
