Afroman, a popular rapper and also a marijuana enthusiast has been arrested for punching an over-enthusiastic female fan on the face.
The fan had hopped up on stage during Afroman’s performance in Biloxi, MI. and received a dazing blow from the star right on her face. She was escorted off stage by security and later filed a police report.
Afroman was later arrested and charged with assault but eventually released on a $330 bond.
The performer’s representative is claiming that Afroman reacted that way because the concert hall lacked proper security, and that the 40-year-old rapper couldn’t tell that the fan was female or what her intentions were.
What the rep didn’t add was if the rapper known for his song ‘Because I Got High’ was high during the concert.
