Ahead of PDP Nat’l Convention, gunmen kidnap party’s state chairman, son, others
Unknown gunmen have whisked away a former Minister of Sports and Plateau State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Damishi Sango.
He was abducted alongside his son, driver, a prominent chieftain of the PDP in the state and another victim whose identity is yet to be established.
It was learnt that the Plateau PDP chairman and the other victims were whisked away by their abductors on Wednesday evening along Jere Road in Kaduna State.

Sango, it was further learnt was on his way to Abuja to attend his party’s national convention slated to hold on Saturday, December 9.
The Publicity Secretary of PDP in Plateau State, John Akans, confirmed the incident in an interview newsmen in Jos on Thursday.
