Man-hunt for Melaye as he jumps out of moving police car

The police is said to have launched a man-hunt for Senator Dino Melaye after he reportedly jumped out of a moving police vehicle and escaped.

Ripples Nigeria gathered that Melaye who had earlier turned himself over to the police, was being taken to court when the incident happened.

On the way, the vehicle was said to have diverted from its route and was seemingly heading out of Abuja towards Melaye’s home state, Kogi.

The senator took everyone by surprise as he was said to have jumped out of the vehicle, around Area 1, Abuja and took to his heels, vowing that he would rather die than be taken to Kogi to be embarrassed.

Incoming reports, however, suggest that the Police may have recovered him and continued the journey to Lokoja.
