ADAMAWA: PDP defeats Gov Bindow in government house polling unit
Adamawa State Governor, Mohammed Jibrilla Bindow, has lost the state Government House polling units 012 and 09 to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Umaru Fintiri.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Presiding Officer, Sumayya Aliyu, who announced the result of polling unit 09 on Saturday in Yola said Fintiri scored 167 votes against Bindow’s 108 votes.
Presiding Officer at polling unit 012, Yemi Adetiba, also announced that Fintiri secured 136 votes against Bindow’s 81.

PDP Presidential candidate in February 23, Atiku Abubakar also secures his polling unit, Ajiya 02, in Gwadabawa Ward, Yola North Local Government of Adamawa for the party.
Governorship election result announced by the Returning Officer, Dorathy Inaku indicated that PDP scored 161 votes, while APC got 99 votes.
