Another Dangote truck crushes scores of victims to death in Anambra

Few days after three victims were sent to their early graves by a Dangote truck driver, around the Arepo community, another ghastly incident involving a driver of the cement making company has been reported.

According to a Facebook user, Ifeyinwa Agbasi, a Dangote truck driver who was driving at top speed lost control, veered off the road and rammed into a crowd of people, killing scores including hawkers and passengers.

“Please help me to thank God oo. Just 2 minutes. I stepped out from where I was standing (Ihiala, Total filling station) a trailer carrying cement lost control and killed hawkers, Okada men and passengers. Right now they are pulling out corpses. Many are still under the trailer, some are under loads of cement,” Agbasi wrote.

Another Facebook user, Able Sympathy who seems to know one of the victims crushed to death by the Dangote truck driver, also wrote on Facebook; “Loveth rest in peace. She didn’t depend on her husband. A woman with a man’s heart; you are dead but I know you are still around… Dangote, why?! ”

As at the time of filing in this report, the number of dead victims involved in the incident had not been ascertained by authorities concerned.

Recall that in the Arepo incident which happened three days ago, the truck driver while driving on the wrong side of the road, and after crushing his victims to death showed no remorse as he made to escape the scene of the incident.

He was however was chased and eventually apprehended at Magboro, a neighbouring community by some motorcyclists.

The driver was almost mobbed to death but for the timely intervention of policemen from the Werewa division who rescued him as he was already bleeding profusely from the attack by the angry mob.
