Buhari to finally address Nigerians on Covid-19 in a national broadcast today

President Muhammadu will address the nation in a national broadcast on Covid-19 today (Sunday).

A statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said the president would address the country by 7pm.

The statement read, “President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation Sunday, March 29, 2020 at 7pm.

Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.”

Many Nigerians have been worried that President Buhari had refused to address the nation despite the continuous spread of the dreaded coronavirus pandemic in the country.
