EFCC detains 11 INEC officials in Gombe over Diezani's $115m

Indications have emerged that former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke may not appear at London Magistrate Court, Monday, as earlier speculated.

Alison-Madueke was arrested in London on Monday over allegations of corruption and money laundering leveled against her.

A British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC, journalist, Sam Piranty, who is monitoring the event, tweeted that the British authorities may have put off her arraignment.

Piranty wrote on his tweeter handle: “On #diezani watch this morning. Unlikely she’ll arrive here after story leaked to press about today.”

Piranty further tweeted that the former minister’s stalkers are every where and that he has some names that maybe those of the remaining four arrested alongside Mrs Alison-Madueke but was not 100% sure.
