Published

on

Ahead of the 2016 governorship election in Edo State, a former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in the state, Mr. Kenneth Imansuagbon has formalized his return to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Famously known as the “Rice Man,” the two time PDP governorship aspirant, who has indicated interest to contest the gubernatorial ticket of the APC, is a founding member of the defunct Action Congress (AC) in the state but left for the PDP and thereafter made a U-turn and returned to the APC after the 2015 elections.

Imansuangbon was formally received into the APC by the leader of the party in his ward in Ewohimi, Mr. Victor Eboigbe and APC chairman in Esan South-East Local Government Area, Mr. Chris Aghughu.

Shortly after receiving him in his ward, the party leaders proceeded to the council headquarters Ubiaja, where Imasuagbon was received by about eight members of the state House of Assembly including the Speaker, Victor Edoror.

Speaking at the occasion, Imasuagbon expressed gratitude to the elders and people of Ewohimi for the warm reception they gave to him and appealed to the people of Esan to continue to support the administration of Governor Adams Oshiomhole.

…and they still received him, after all the curves and u-turns. Isn’t this an indication of lack of direction and purpose? like these guys care anyways. My good people of Edo State, una koyo ooo. I don’t even know why I bothered with a comment. There is no need.
