EFCC discovers more $38m, N23m in Lagos home

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced the discovery of another large sum of money.

The anti- graft operatives from Lagos zone disclosed that the cash was found during a sting operation in a house at 16, Osborne Road, Ikoyi, Lagos State.

According to the commission, the discovered cash was about $38million, N23million and £27,000 from the Ikoyi apartment.

This is the third time in about a week that the EFCC has discovered large sum of money in Lagos.

It had two days ago recovered €547,730 and £21,090 as well as N5,648,500 from a Bureau de Change operator in Balogun Market, Lagos.
The anti-graft agency had also six days earlier recovered N449, 000,860 in an abandoned shop also in Lagos.
