Second Republic lawmaker, Junaid Muhammed, yesterday urged Nigerians to brace up as the new year maycome with more misery and suffering for the people.

He told New Telegraph in an interview that Nigeria would not make any appreciable progress in the new year as the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari was peopled by illiterates.

He also accused the President of running a government ridden with nepotism and corruption, as those in power did not have the capacity to deliver.

He said: “With the prevailing situation in the country, I’m not expecting anything good from this government and I never expected anything good from it, just as I never expected anything good from them when they were sworn in 2015”.
