Tinubu signs N2.17tn Supplementary Budget

President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, at the State House, Abuja signed the 2023 Supplementary Budget of N2.17 trillion.

The Supplementary Budget was recently passed by the National Assembly.

Tinubu had approached the National Assembly with a supplementary budget proposal, with defence, agriculture, amongst others getting prominence.

It is also expected that part of the supplementary budget will be used to finance some proposed post-subsidy removal palliatives.
