US expands military presence as more asylum seekers, refugees arrive US-Mexico border

In order to halt an army of asylum seekers from other parts of America, the United States has shut its borders and revealed that traffic at the San Ysidro port of entry has been suspended.

Reports say the US Customs and Border Protection has temporarily closed all vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the major San Ysidro port of entry between Tijuana, Mexico and San Diego, California on Sunday.

The announcement was made as hundreds of migrants and refugees marched towards the border in an attempt to put pressure on the US government to allow thousands of asylum seekers to enter the United States.

Days ago, the US expanded its military power at the US-Mexico border as more asylum seekers and refugees arrive seeking greener pastures in ‘God’s own country’.

According to US defence chief, he has been given an extra authority from above to use military power at border if necessary.
