Stop allowing illicit financial inflows into your countries, Buhari tells developed countries

President Muhammadu Buhari, challenged developed countries to the fight against corruption seriously by disallowing the inflow of illicit money into their countries.

The president, who spoke at the High-Level Meeting of the United Nations General Assembly to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Declaration on the Right to Development in New York, challenged development partners to also up the fight against corruption by returning ill-gotten financial assets.

He also explained that his administration was tackling corruption headlong because it contributes to the denial of the resources required for development.
