Tidal woes: Jay-Z looks to Naija for comfort

Jay-Z is out to clear the air about his new company, Tidal, after it was reported that the streaming service company had hit hard times as it sheds staff and desperately chases after subscribers.

In a barrage of tweets, Jay-Z tried assuring people that Tidal is a steadily growing global company. He hinted that it was detractors that are intentional passing around false information about Tidal to the public.

He also said that his cousin, Jay Electronica, is in Nigeria to discover new talents. Jay Electronica had arrived Nigeria last week and was seen with the Mavins crew; Electronica is signed to Roc Nations.
