PDM candidate asks tribunal to nullify Buhari's election

President Muhammadu Buhari has been urged to jettison the idea of setting up a Fulani radio station for herdsmen.

The call to do away with the idea of setting up a Fulani radio station was made on Thursday by the President-General of Urhobo Progressive Union (UPU), Olorogun Moses Taiga.

According to Moses Taiga, the federal government should concentrate on implementing fiscal federalism rather than putting in place plans to set up a Fulani Radio station.

He also added that the timing of the radio station was wrong despite the explanation put forward by the government.

Moses taiga said: “Any government effort should either be holistic or each ethnic nationality should be left to preserve its culture and language.

“The selective promotion of the Fulani language has heightened tension among ethnic nationalities in the country and the project should be jettisoned at once.”

He decried the spate of insecurity in the country especially in the north, urging the government to devote more effort to tackling the problem.
