Veteran actress Clarion Chukwurah turns social media preacher

54-year-old Nollywood actress Clarion Chukwurah has taken to social media to reveal that she has found Christ and also declared that she is now a born again Christian.

According to a post on her Instagram page; the veteran thespian admitted that as an actress, she played the role of the bitch and life was all about glamour and glitz, though she was the Humanitarian, she didn’t realise that with CHRIST there are no half measures.

Her message on social media reads thus; “My Testimony; As an Actress, I played the role of the Bitch and life was all about Glamour and Glitz, and though I was the Humanitarian, I didn’t realise that with CHRIST there are no half measures. But, Today, HE has saved me – John 3 : 16 and like the Apostle Paul – Romans 1 : 16 and I will Glorify His Name because HE has empowered me for others to be saved – Acts 1 : 8. Jesus Christ is the ULTIMATE…do you know HIM? Are you saved? Do you have a one on one relationship with Jesus Christ today like i do? If so, what is your Testimony?”

Clarion Chukwurah now joins fiery Nollywood actress Patience Ozokwor who became born again three years ago and has cut off her dreadlocks, jettisoned make-up and also stopped wearing trouser.

The actress who now stages personal retreats herself said at the beginning of 2016, she heard the voice of the Holy Spirit telling her to fast for 21 days which later extended to a 30 days.

Patience who was speaking while fielding questions from newsmen at the time, said God revealed to her while fasting that she was going to be a tool to spread His word and she should use her image to influence people to listen to the word of God and her appearance should also be decent.
