2 soldiers arrested for role in kidnap of CBN gov’s wife

Suspected kidnappers of Mrs Margaret Emefiele, the wife of the Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele were paraded earlier Monday by the Nigerian police.

The suspects included two soldiers, Musa Maidabara, a corporal attached to the 322 Artillery Regiment, and Edwin George of 371 Artillery.

Other suspects paraded include;  Ernest Anthony Uduefe ‘M’ (32 years) (dismissed Soldier), Mohammed Abubakar A.K.A Dogo ‘M’ (29 years) (Gang Leader), Mohammed Musa ‘M’ (26 years), Mohammed Sule ‘M’ (26 years), Ibrahim Abdullahi ‘M’ (30 years), Aliyu Musa ‘M’ (30 years) and Mohammed Yusuf ‘M’ (36 years).
Margaret was kidnapped on September 29th along Benin-Agbor Road alongside four others including her police detail.
She regained her freedom October 1st after reportedly parting with a large amount of money as ransom.
