AAG: Onyeama sets new weightlifting record as Team Nigeria returns

Nigeria Esther Onyeama has set a new world record in the women’s weightlifting event for para athletes Wednesday night.
She won gold in the 65kg weight class when she lifted 133kg as she erased her previous record of 126kg at the London 2012 paralympics.
Meanwhile, the first batch of Team Nigeria athletes to the 11th All Africa Games in Congo Brazaville will return to Nigeria today (Thursday) as their events have been concluded.

The batch includes the Badminton, Boxing, Cycling, Judo, Swimming, Volleyball and Gymnastic teams.
