Baba Fryo shares pictures of his bloodied face after attack by unknown soldiers

Veteran dancehall singer Baba Fryo has shared pictures of his battered and bloodied face after he was allegedly attacked by unknown soldiers in the Ojo area of Lagos.

The once-popular musician known for releasing street songs like his 90’s hit ‘Denge Pose’ didn’t really give details of the incident but revealed that the soldiers who assaulted him were allowed to escape by another female soldier.

He also informed that the matter has been reported to authorities at the Ojo Army barrack, who have promised to investigate the matter in a bid to bring the erring officers to book.

He wrote thus on social media; “I was humiliated by unknown soldiers I tried forced them to the barrack but a female soldier interfered and allowed them to escape. The case is under investigation. Thanks to Ojo Army barrack who took the case on their shoulder I pray they will surely be caught and brought to book.”

As at the time of filing in this report, the Nigerian was yet to release any statement concerning the assault on Friday Igwe, otherwise known in music circles as Baba Fryo.
