PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION TRIBUNAL: Bulkachuwa tells Atiku, PDP to file application seeking her disqualification

A presiding Justice of the Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal, Justice M. L Garba, has replaced Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa as the head of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

Bulkachuwa withdrew from the panel following allegation of likelihood of bias levelled against her by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate in the February 23 presidential election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Garba appeared on the five-man panel for the first time on Monday, replacing the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa.

Atiku and the PDP are challenging the victory of President Muhmmadu Buhari in the February 23 presidential election.
