KEYAMO ON BUHARI: ‘No politician in recent history enjoys this kind of support!’

Spokesman of President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2019 reelection campaign, Festus Keyamo, says “No politician in recent history enjoys” the kind of support the president currently has.

He claims that unlike the opposition struggling to amass genuine supporters, Buhari had “close to 1,000” support groups “selflessly” campaigning for him ahead of next year’s election.

Keyamo made the comments via his twitter handle on Saturday.

Keyamo said while Buhari enjoys the “massive” support, other groups backing the opposition are only in it for the money.

According to him, “all those pockets of groups emerging for various Presidential candidates of the main opposition are just looking for funding, nothing more.

“But today, we have close to 1000 Buhari support groups operating selflessly. No politician in recent history enjoys this kind of support!”
