‘Kudos to an incorruptible judge,’ Kate Henshaw reacts to conviction of doctor for defiling wife’s niece

Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has reacted to the conviction of a medical doctor, Olufemi Olaleye, for sexual assault by the Lagos State Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court sitting in Ikeja.

On Tuesday, Justice Rahman Oshodi sentenced the medical doctor to life imprisonment for defiling his wife’s niece.

Olaleye, the Medical Director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, was convicted for defilement and s3xual penetration of an unnamed 15-year-old girl by the judge.

In his ruling, Justice Oshodi held that the prosecution had proven its case beyond reasonable doubt as all the evidence before the court corroborated that of the victim.

Henshaw, who reacted to the development on her Instagram page, applauded the judge for meting out justice to Dr. Olaleye.

She wrote: “I want to thank the incorruptible Justice Rahman Oshodi for a detailed judgment. He listened attentively throughout the proceedings and left no one in doubt that this judgment was his.

“He saw that there was no remorse in Femi Olaleye and that he would repeat the same offences if let go. I watched Femi’s body language all the time I came to this court and he showed no remorse as he was always shoulder-up.”
