Man arrested for threatening to kill Trump

A Florida man has been arrested by cops after he allegedly posted a message on his Twitter time-line threatening to kill President-elect Donald Trump.

The man identified as Puopolo, 51, was arrested on Tuesday and reports say he allegedly admitted to making the threat.

“This is 16 January, 2017. I was requested to type this in and post it. Yes, I will be at the review stand, the inauguration and I’m going to kill President Trump, President-elect Trump today,” Dominic Puopolo said in a video he allegedly posted on Monday.

The 51-year-old was later ordered for a mental evaluation at a court hearing Wednesday after he was arrested.

24 hours earlier, an unidentified anti-Trump protester had set himself ablaze outside the Trump International Hotel prompting staff inside the hotel to put calls through to the police and the fire department.

The protester who suffered non-life-threatening burns and was taken to hospital by police said he was protesting against Trump who he said was ‘incapable of respecting the constitution’.
