For the second day running, the Nigerian Stock Exchange sustained its bullish run on Wednesday as market capitalisation reached N12.924 trillion at the close of business. The All Share Index (ASI) equally responded to the positive trend, notching up 0.14% to close at 26,776.15 basis point.
TOP 5 GAINERS
Nigerian Breweries led the gainers chart, rising to N52, indicating a 6.12% increase. Conoil followed suit, gaining 9.47%% to end the day at N18.5. UBA rose to N7.75, which translated to 7.64% gain. FBN Holdings went up by 8.15%, thus ending Wednesday at N7.3 while Access Bank advanced to N10.2, improving by 3.55%.
TOP 5 LOSERS
MTNN topped the flip side, plummeting by 2.34%% to close at N119.05. Dangote Cement slid by 0.62%, closing at N144. NASCON came next with 5.72% depreciation, which made it end the day at N14.
WAPCO plunged by 1.02% to N14.5 while OANDO completed the top 5 losers with a 1.67% loss that made it close at N3.54.

267,314,230 shares were traded were traded in all in 4,074deals. In Naira terms, the volume of shares traded was N3,053,397,189.64.
Access bank shares were the most active with 63,527,783 shares worth N643.702 million traded in 421 deals. UBA came second with 44,855,729 shares valued at N338.645 million traded in 370 deals. Zenith Bank traded 24,094,055 shares worth N451.630 million in 505 transactions to finish third on the list. FBN Holdings recorded trades estimated at N119.311 million on 16,816,862 shares in 287 deals. GTBcompleted the top 5 companies by trading volume with 14,262,082 shares valued at N414.075 million in 179 deals.
