Oshoala nominated for award in England

Current African player of the year and Super Falcons striker, Asisat Oshoala, has been nominated for the 2015 Young Sportswoman of the Year Award.
According to Liverpool Ladies FC official Twitter handle, Oshoala’s club mate, Fara Williams, was also nominated for the category of the Sportswoman of the Year Award.

Other categories to be vied for include: Vitality Team of the Year, Disability Sportswoman of the Year Award, Community Award, The Helen Rollason Award for Inspiration and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Meanwhile, a panel of experts will select and announce the winners from each of the categories at a star-studded awards ceremony.
