Manchester City Boss Pep Guardiola is one of the highest paid football managers in the world, and is known for his enviable collection of wristwatches that are worth tens of thousands of pounds.

Regarded as one of the best players of his generation, Guardiola was a creative and technically gifted midfielder who spent the majority of his career with Spanish giants Barcelona. But after retiring as a player, Guardiola became coach of Barcelona B team, and in 2008 he succeeded Frank Rijkaard as the first team manager of the Catalan club.

The Spaniard, who won a treble in his first season as manager, became the youngest coach to win the Champions League; and four years later, in 2012, he announced his departure from Barca and joined Bayern Munich the following year.

Guardiola, who is now Manager at Premier League side Manchester City, is often seen sporting different watches – including a latest addition that reportedly bears the crest of his current employer.

Guardiola has recently been seen wearing a limited edition Cimier QNETCity automatic around the training ground and even wore it pitch side for his first Manchester derby.

The 45-year-old is most frequently seen in his Rolex Deep Sea Dweller – valued at around £9000.

Another favourite is his IWC Big Pilot, which is sold at around the same price.
While in Barcelona, Guardiola was seen wearing a limited edition Chopard Mille Miglia GT XL chrono speed black. Only 1000 pieces were made worldwide and are extremely rare to come by – costing upwards of £7000 on the used market.

Another limited edition watch from Guardiola’s Barca days was the Cartier Santos 100 in rose gold. That too, is estimated around £7-10,000 second hand.

At Bayern Munich, he would regularly be seen in more of a utility timepiece at training, such as the Adizero Performance by Adidas – not nearly as stylish as the one presented to him at City.

Guardiola’s Man City are currently fifth on the league table – 10 points behind leaders Chelsea. It clearly hasn’t been a great run this season for the Spaniard, as against his achievements with previous clubs. On Sunday, City lost 4-0 to Everton – after which the embattled Manager declared that the club is out of the title race. City next Premier League clash will be against second-placed Tottenham on Saturday at the Etihad Stadium.
