Saraki, wife vote, says he’s impressed with massive turnout

Senate President Bukola Saraki has expressed satisfaction with the number of voters that turned out in Kwara State for the presidential and National Assembly elections today (Saturday).

He made his feelings known when he voted at Polling Unit 005/006 Agbaji Quarters, Ajikobi Ward, Ilorin West on Saturday along with his wife, Toyin.

Saraki who is seeking a reelection to the Senate commended how peaceful the election has been so far and urged the voters to remain patient to enable them cast their vote within the stipulated time frame.

The Senate President however expressed worries over late arrival of voting materials in some polling units within Ilorin metropolis.
