Stephanie Linus Is now USAID Ambassador

Stephanie Okereke responds to copy right theft allegations

On September 1st 2015, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the National Democratic Institute (NDI), a US-based International Agency, announced A-list actress, producer and director Stephanie Linus as the Ambassador for the ‘Stop Violence Against Women In Elections’ Campaign.

The Acting INEC Chairman Hajiya Amina Zakari and the former Deputy Governor of Plateau state Mrs Pauline Tallen were there to witness Stephanie’s formal presentation as the ambassador.

The heavily pregnant actress beamed in a blue maternity gown at the event that took place yesterday at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

Also in attendance were the NDI Country Director Jasper Veen, the Team Leader of Democracy and Governance USAID, Blair King and a representative of the Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase amongst others.
