Tragedy averted as EFCC rushes ex Gov Ngilari to hospital
Another death was Friday averted in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, as the detained former Acting Governor of Adamawa State, James Bala Ngilari, was rushed the Federal Teaching Hospital, Gombe for urgent medical attention
It would be recalled that Ngilari was detained by the EFCC in connection with N450 million allegedly received by the Adamawa State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP from the alleged N2 billion poll bribe money cordinated by the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, for the 2015 presidential election.

According to a source in the EFCC, Ngilari was taken to the hospital in an ambulance on Friday around 6pm after he complained of ill health.
Confirming the development, a hospital source disclosed that the former acting governor was admitted at the emergency ward and was quickly attended by two medical doctors.
Ngilari’s blood pressure was said to have shot up after he was grilled by the EFCC operatives.
